GABRIELE BRUNDO
Gabriele Brundo, an eclectic writer from Genoa, was born in the late 1970s and shaped his identity among the narrow, winding alleys of the Superba — a city whose cosmopolitan and dreamlike soul has inspired renowned artists, writers, and musicians.
A passionate reader with a free, nonconformist spirit, his youth was marked by rebellion and creativity from an early age. His life is studded with travels and intense experiences that have made him a seasoned helmsman of life’s tempests and the jagged cliffs of hardship — a bold and passionate navigator, well aware that the Promised Land lies not at the end of the journey, but in the journey itself.
Through writing, he has given voice to feelings, experiences, and dreams to which, with vivid imagination, he has breathed life and form. Like a seasoned bartender mixing reality and emotion, deeply seen and deeply felt, with visionary and fervent fantasy, he weaves stories whose roots sink into real life while their sturdy, tangled branches reach for the rarefied skies of the fantastic, drawing nourishment from the sap of creativity.

Il 23 febbraio 2023 è stata pubblicata la seconda edizione de L’Erede, il romanzo d’esordio di
Gabriele Brundo, ora con una veste grafica rinnovata. L’opera, già apprezzata nella sua prima
edizione del 2020 (al terzo posto nella sezione Horror delle vendite Amazon), torna con una
copertina più curata e una revisione stilistica che valorizza la scrittura dell’autore.
Una nuova opportunità per (ri)scoprire una storia intensa e visionaria, e per entrare nel mondo
narrativo di Brundo con occhi aggiornati.
Dal 13 al 16 ottobre 2022, Cocktail Partigiani è stato protagonista di quattro serate a Roma. Un
tour letterario che ha visto Gabriele Brundo e Checchino Antonini presentare il libro-rivista in
contesti eterogenei e coinvolgenti: Zalib a Trastevere, Blue Room, Circolo Arci Pietralata e Hoppio
Festival.
Le serate hanno unito narrazione, performance e dialoghi con il pubblico, offrendo spunti di
riflessione su memoria, convivialità e giustizia sociale. Il progetto è parte della cordata con Amaro
Partigiano di Ri-MAFLOW e Archivi della Resistenza, consolidando un network culturale militante.
Il 17 luglio 2022 Gabriele Brundo è stato ospite della trasmissione Pantagruel su Rai Radio 3, in
diretta nazionale. Durante l’intervista ha raccontato la genesi di Cocktail Partigiani, approfondendo
il messaggio etico e narrativo che lega la memoria resistenziale al consumo consapevole di alcolici.
Ha inoltre spiegato la collaborazione con il curatore Checchino Antonini e realtà militanti come
Archivi della Resistenza di Fosdinovo (MS) e RI-MAFLOW di Trezzano sul Naviglio (MI),
sottolineando l’importanza della cultura come strumento di resistenza.
